The New Amsterdam Boys and Girls Choir will be celebrating 40 years of providing choral music experience for the young people of the Harlem community. The success of its accomplishments has been made possible with the consistent and generous support of its partners like you.
With this anniversary, the group’s name will change to the New Amsterdam Choir to acknowledge the wider span of ages we are encouraging.
While celebrating our history, we plan to strengthen our key program for the near future: the annual spring concert, a social justice presentation, in addition to local and out- of- town performances. The NAC will keep growing its membership to include all school grade levels and college so that it can continue to promote choral singing as a creative outlet that will help its members to become productive members of society.
