🌎 Holloway Lake Spring Cleanup – Let’s Get the Shores Ready for Summer! 🌊
As the ice melts and spring begins to show up around Holloway, it’s time for one of our favorite annual traditions — the Holloway Lake Spring Cleanup!
Each year, our neighbors come together to help clean up the shoreline and surrounding areas before the water levels rise for the summer season. It’s a great opportunity to spend a little time outdoors, catch up with fellow lake neighbors, and make sure Holloway is looking its best heading into boating and lake season.
📅 Saturday, April 11
☕ Coffee & Donuts – 10:30 AM
🧹 Cleanup Begins – 11:00 AM
📍 Meet at the Fishing Parking Lot on Stanley Road
We’ll start the morning with coffee and donuts at 10:30, hand out garbage bags, and organize volunteers before heading out around the lake to collect debris along the shoreline and nearby areas.
🧤 Please bring a pair of work gloves.
A big thank you to Genesee County Parks, who will once again be helping by collecting and disposing of all the trash we gather.
Everyone is welcome to help — HLA members, neighbors, families, and anyone who enjoys Holloway Lake. The more hands we have, the faster we can get the shoreline cleaned up and ready for another great summer on the water.
Even an hour of helping makes a difference.
