By now your entries for the Guild Annual Showcase should be finished and ready for the big day! Please remember the important information below:
1) Entries will be accepted between 9:30am - 10:30 am on the day - no exceptions.
2) You will not be able to view the display of entries until judging is complete - expected to be around 12 noon.
3) Artist statements are welcome, but not compulsory. These must be written in advance, be no larger than index card size, and be submitted with the article/s and entry form.
4) The Guild General Meeting will commence at 10:45am.
5) Complimentary Subway lunch will be provided; vegetarian & GF options included.
Schedule as follows.
09:30am - Doors open, entries can be handed in.
10:00am - Library and the Yarn Area open
10:30am – Entries close
10.45am – General Meeting
12:00pm - Competition entry viewing commences
Our General Meeting days are open to everyone who spins, knits, crochets, weaves or just loves fibre and textiles. You are welcome to join us from around 09:30am until you get tired.
Comfortable seating available - first come, first served. Gold coin donation each visit and your first two visits you don’t need to join.
The Guild is at the Alexander Park Craft House, Clyde Road, Menora.
If you find yourself in a tennis club car park opposite a hall (that’s us) you are in the right place!
