Get ready to spread your wings and join us in person for the 5-day Annual San Diego Bird Festival! Whether you're a birdwatching newbie or a seasoned pro, this event is packed with fun activities, expert talks, and plenty of feathered friends to spot. Come celebrate the amazing birdlife of San Diego, enjoy beautiful outdoor adventures, and connect with fellow bird lovers. The Festival supports the mission of the San Diego Bird Alliance to defend our region’s birds, wild habitats, and unique biodiversity.Don’t miss out on this awesome birding event that runs from Febrary 25 to March 1.

Keynote Speackers
Info: Each evening of the festival our keynote speakers will speak on subjects like how birding makes us better, their experiences with conservation projects, inclusivity in birding, and beyond. February 25 - Jason Hall, February 26 - Makeda Cheatom and Marilu Lopez-Fretts, February 27 - Dexter Patterson, and February 28 - Kenn Kaufman.

Transportation provided - For these field trips, transportation to and from field trip locations from Marina Village Conference Center is included in the price of the field trip.
Meet-you-there - For this type of field trip transportation to and from the field trip location is not provided. We’ll meet you at the trip site.
