It's that time of year again, Time for you to stop out to the Annual Meeting at The Salem Country Club
Your voice can be heard at The Annual Meeting, always the second Monday in November
This year it's November 10th at 6:00 pm
The Annual meeting is open to all members in good standing and each family has one vote for the board as well and anything we might be voting on at the meeting. The things we go over typically are :
- Last year's budget and next year's expenses
- Projects completed and next years projects timelines
- Board member voting ( 3 members voted on each year )
- Open discussion
- Available items to be voted upon by membership.
*We will have 4 board positions to vote on as well as 2 honorary positions to assign if a person is interested. Board members are expected to come to one meeting per month on the second Tuesday of the month. Chair a comm and participate in events, as well as the 4th of July celebration.
4 board members are up for election this year and this year they are as follows:

We have so far 3 people interested in running fo the board, if you would like to run for a position and are not listed Please respond back and let me know to add your name. Names can also be added the night of the meeting....

Two Honorary board members can also be appointed to help for one year terms each.
I know of a couple people that have shown interest in running for positions on the board, please reach out again if you are interested. I want to make sure I place you on the ballot. You will be running for a position on the board, not necessarily a comm. position. The Comm. will be discussed at the first board meeting in January.

Topics to be voted on by the members -
1) Dues will be raised to $550.00 per year plus tax. from $500.00 plus tax.( it has become unsustainable to continue with dues where they are because wages and expenses have gone up so much )
2) Guest fees to be raised to $7.00 this again is necessary to keep the dues at a lower level and not raise in the future after this year.
