About this Event
Join us for the Museum of Boulder’s 2026 Annual Meeting, an evening that brings together members, supporters, and the broader community to reflect on the past year at the museum and look ahead to what’s next.
The program will begin with a welcome reception followed by remarks from museum leadership, including updates on recent exhibitions, programs, partnerships, and priorities for the coming year. The meeting will also include the annual election of members to the Museum of Boulder Board of Directors.
We are especially pleased to welcome Jason Hanson, Chief Creative Officer at History Colorado and Deputy State Historian for Colorado, as this year’s special guest speaker.
As America approaches its 250th anniversary and Colorado celebrates 150 years as the Centennial State, Hanson will share insights into the statewide efforts underway to commemorate these milestones. His presentation will highlight major initiatives across Colorado, including the exhibition Moments That Made Us, now on display at History Colorado, and explore how these anniversaries invite Coloradans to reflect on the events, people, and stories that shaped our state.
The evening will conclude with time to mingle with fellow community members, museum leadership, and history enthusiasts.
This event is open to the public. Museum of Boulder members are encouraged to attend and participate in the annual board vote.
