About this Event
This has been an exciting year for the Atlanta North Georgia Labor Council! We have continued our fight against inequality in the workplace, we have championed legislation and political candidates that will improve the lives of all Georgians. We have held rallies across our 20 county jurisdiction to amplify the plight of workers in all industries. We are pleased to announce that we will meet again this year at the UAW Facility located at 3915 Gilbert Road in Hapeville, GA for food, fun and fellowship. The Annual Labor Day Event will begin at 11:30 am. Lunch will be served at Noon.
In 2024, we continue to partner with our affiliate unions, the faith community and community organizations to provide job training, labor resources and food relief for those members that are experiencing the effects of the economy and high inflation rates.
We are asking for your assistance in accomplishing our vitally important programming. During the past year we have held two arbitration classes, steward training,student loan navigation classes, legislative strategy sessions and a myriad of other resources for our members. Your sponsorship will assist in our 2024/2025 programming efforts and help us further our mission. We appreciate your support and contributions to the Atlanta North Georgia Labor Council.
