About this Event
Purpose of this Workshop:
- To enrich knowledge of the evolving settlement and development of the Great Black Swamp through living history demonstrations and exhibits
- To acknowledge the important role of community in the settlement & development of our state
- To appreciate the significance of the evolution of American science-technology innovation content
- To present ideas and topics for investigation by students to improve their acquisition and retention of new information
- To inspire more creative thinkers, critical thinkers and problem solvers
- To explore topics aligned with Ohio’s Learning Standards
- To stimulate teaching ideas, techniques, and relevant connections to students’ lives to the past
