It's been a busy year for the Doagh Village Community Association with a packed programme of events and activities delivered in 2024 including:• Easter, Summer and Halloween community events
• Family Day Out to Ark Open Farm
• Country Music Night
• Bingo Nights
• Village Clean Ups
• Seniors' Stew Night
• Seniors' Coach Trip to Brownlow House and The Boulevard
• Seniors' Christmas Dinner
• Christmas Lights Switch On
In February the Village was also chosen for the official launch of the Dog Watch Scheme across the Borough by the Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey and for the first time ever, Doagh took part this Summer in the prestigious ‘Ulster in Bloom’ competition.
Thanks so much to everyone who has supported the DVCA in 2024, particularly all of our local businesses who have sponsored our events so generously throughout the year. It really is appreciated.
2025 promises to be another big year for the Village and the Association, so if you'd like to get involved, please come along to our ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING on Wednesday 8 January in Doagh Primary School at 7.30pm. It'll be a great opportunity to find out more about the work of the DVCA and how you could help make a difference in the Village this year.
Looking forward to seeing you on the 8th!
