The Russell County Women’s Leadership Committee is hosting the annual Heritage Cooking contest as well as the quilting, sewing and photography contests. The contests will be held at the Crawford United Methodist Church, 4504 US Highway 80 West, Phenix City, Al 36870 at 2:00 p.m. EASTERN time. Contests are free to enter and cash prizes are awarded in all contest Also some are open to 7-12th graders for youth division. If you aren’t a member of the Alabama Farmers Federation, it’s easy to join and there are lots of perks to membership. Simply go to www.alfafarmers.org, click on menu then click on Membership.
