Through this year’s conference theme, “History and Hope: Learning for Change”, we explore ways of harnessing hope from historical events and education to empower young people for benevolent changemaking. This year’s sub-themes are: Multi-Perspectivity and Transnationalism, Anti-Racism/Anti-Colonial Practice and Democracy and European Values.Whether you are new to our events or a returning visitor, this conference is the perfect place to join a community dedicated to learning and sharing with like-minded individuals in the field.
The Conference will take place in Brussels, Belgium, from Monday, 27 April to Wednesday, 29 April 2026. As usual, for early arrivals, we will organise limited events on Sunday, 26 April! The main venue will be at the European Parliament. Other conference locations are all planned to be within walking distance of each other near Leopoldpark.
