This year, I’m taking over my mom’s beloved annual cookie swap tradition! Instead of her hosting, I’ll be opening my doors and keeping the holiday sugar rush alive. The idea is simple: everyone brings 1–2 dozen of their favorite homemade cookies—or, you know, those “freshly baked” ones that mysteriously come in plastic clamshells from Publix. If you bought them, don’t worry—we’ll only judge you a little… lovingly, of course.Once everyone arrives with their treats, we’ll snack, swap, and socialize. We’ll be watching The Polar Express in the background, sipping hot cocoa, and enjoying the kind of conversation that only happens when everyone’s on their third cookie.
It’s cozy, it’s festive, and it’s basically a sugar-fueled hangout with holiday spirit (and possibly crumbs) everywhere.
