The Anti-Racism University Forum is an annual event organized by New Brunswick Provincial Council for People of African Descent, in collaboration with local partners. Our mission is to advocate for the rights and interests of Black individuals in New Brunswick, Canada. This two-day event aims to provide a space for reflection, dialogue, and action on the issue of racism in all its forms, highlighting the challenges faced by Black communities and initiatives aimed at promoting racial equality and social justice.
Theme: This year's theme is "Systemic Racism: Challenges and Perspectives". Through engaging discussions, expert presentations, and interactive workshops, we will explore the historical roots of systemic racism, its contemporary manifestations, and strategies to combat these structural injustices.
What to Expect: Attendees can look forward to insightful conferences, thought-provoking panel discussions, hands-on workshops, an exhibition showcasing anti-racism art, and the official launch of Ubuntu Community Radio dedicated to amplifying the voices of Black communities.
