Community Talk: Ankle sprains in trail runners - managing your risk and response.Join us for a free workshop on strength training for trail runners, with a special focus on ankle sprain recovery, neuromuscular control, and building confidence post-injury. Led by Lianne Burrell of ATHTERRA (Kinesiologist) and Carly Peterson at Shift Wellness (Physiotherapist), this session will explore key strategies to improve strength, stability, and resilience on the trails both pre and post injury. The event includes an educational discussion followed by some workshop time in the gym to ask questions and practice an exercise or two. If you've ever been slowed down by ankle sprain or fear of one - this workshop will give you the tools to move with strength and confidence.
