- Meet : Having voiced of over 1,500 characters throughout her career, she is best known for Voicing Princess Azula in Avatar the Last Airbender. She has also lent her voice to such roles as Daphne in Scooby Doo, Vicky in Fairly Odd Parents, Mandy in The Grim Adventures of Bill & Mandy, Monster Girl in Amazon Prime's hit animated show Invincible, Wonder Woman & Catwoman for several DC shows and Video games & Much More! ~Attending all 3 days! Meet : most famously known for his voice of Kakashi Sensei in Naruto, Naruto Shippuden & Boruto. Dave has also lent his voice to roles in Ghost in the Shell as Saito, Code Geass as Gino, Digimon as Henry Wong & hundreds More across anime, video games & cartoons. ~Signing All 3 Days! Meet : She’s best known for voicing Sakura Haruno in Naruto, Sailor Mercury from Sailor Moon, Retsu Unohana from Bleach, C.C. in Code Geass, and Saber in Fate/stay night. Her roles also include Tails in Sonic the Hedgehog, Sailor Mercury in Sailor Moon, and Pauline in Super Mario Odyssey, where she performed the hit song “Jump Up, Super Star!” Since 2010, Higgins has been the current voice of Princess Aurora from Walt Disney's Sleeping Beauty. She's also played the voice of Frankie Stein in Monster High, Briar Beauty in Ever After High, and starred as Barbie in Life in the Dreamhouse (2012). She’s also voiced characters in Eureka 7, Alpha and Omega, Blaze and the Monster Machines, and most recently, Lady in Devil May Cry 5. ~ Signing All 3 Days! HOW DO I GET MY FREE 9"x12" PRINT? this event on any of your social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, X etc.) by April 25th. Get another free print by liking and following our Instagram or Facebook page at amazingartexpo. Limit one free print per individual who shared on their own/separate social media & per individual who follows Amazing Art Expo's Facebook or Instagram page. When you check in at the event, use your phone to show proof you shared the event in order to get your free print. to share the event on Facebook.
WHERE DO I PARK: There are nearby parking lots near the hotel! We recommend the "Almaden & Woz Lot" for $7 Parking (401 Almaden Blvd)!
WHY ARE THERE MULTIPLE EVENTS DISPLAYING A SIMILAR EVENT WITH THE SAME DATES AND LOCATION? These are all the same event! We are limited in the amount of characters we can type in an event title. Since our event encompasses: Anime, Game, Horror, Marvel, DC, Disney, Star Wars, Alice in Wonderland, Harry Potter & Lord of the Rings, this is simply too long to put into an event title. To make it easier and in order to reach fans of each theme, we have created separate events for these themes but keep in mind, it is all the same event.
THIS EVENT SEEMS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. HOW DO I KNOW THIS IS A LEGITIMATE EVENT? We encourage you to Google us at "amazing art expo" where you will see many updates, reviews, etc. We have over 51,000 followers on Facebook, 21,000 on Instagram and have been in business since 2016. We have hosted over 100 events during that time.
IS THIS EVENT COMPLETELY FREE? Yes, everyone is free to attend and no purchase is necessary.
HOW DO I GET AN AUTOGRAPH FROM THE VOICE ACTORS? Autographs may be purchased at the event (voice actor's booth) using cash, credit card or Apple Pay. Last Call for Autographs is Sunday at 3:30 pm. There will be other options as well to upgrade your signature to include larger prints, Funkos, swords, statues, quotes/doodles, voice/video recording, selfies, etc. Those prices will be determined at the event itself. You may bring to the event your own product(s) to be signed including print(s), Funkos, swords, etc. Remember, this is also a pop culture art expo and there will be lots of super cool prints relevant to the voice actor available to purchase at the event. We encourage you to take a look at the art show first before getting in line with the voice actors. If you plan to purchase autographs, we recommend you also purchase a VIP ticket since it allows you 1 hour early access to the voice actors before the doors open to the public, at which time the lines can get lengthy.
ARE KIDS ALLOWED? This event is 100% Kid & Stroller Friendly!
ARE YOU ACCEPTING VENDORS OR ARTISTS FOR THIS EVENT? We are not accepting any vendors for this event. If you are an artist interested in working with us at future events, you may submit examples of your work to [email protected].
IS THERE ANY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (A.I.) ART AT THIS EVENT? Absolutely NOT! All our art sold on our website and featured at our show was created by human hands and all made in the USA. We do not believe A.I. art is actually art and we stay firm with that decision.
IS PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED? You are welcome to photograph cosplayers, voice actors and the overall event and encouraged to share it with friends. However, Due to encounters of theft, attempts in converting the art via A.I. and/or unauthorized reproduction (bootlegging) of the artwork, our artists request no closeup photography of the art itself please. Out of respect for the artists, this rule is strictly enforced. All Amazing staff members would be happy to take a photo of the art for you in a manner where it cannot be reproduced so easily - just ask.
DO I HAVE TO COSPLAY TO ATTEND THE EVENT? No. Cosplaying is completely voluntary.
WHAT ARE THE GUIDELINES FOR THE COSPLAY CONTEST?
Cosplay Contests will take place approximately 3-4 pm on Saturday & Sunday. All Monsters, princesses, princes, superheroes, Jedi, wizards, witches and even muggles of all ages are encouraged to attend and will be introduced to the audience as their character name. Cosplayers who meet the following criteria listed below will qualify for the Cosplay Contest.
1st PLACE PRIZE: Receives a $100 Gift Certificate for the Amazing Art Expo.
2nd PLACE PRIZE: Receives a $75 Gift Certificate for the Amazing Art Expo.
3rd PLACE PRIZE: Receives a $50 Gift Certificate.
All qualified cosplayers participating in the contest will receive a complimentary premium 12"x16" VIP print of their choice valued at $40.
PROFESSIONAL COSPLAYERS (INFLUENCERS) must have at least 50,000+ social media followers in order to qualify to receive a free display table to promote their brand(s) in exchange for coming to and promoting the event. Please email [email protected] for details.
1.) JUST SHOW UP: no later than 3 pm on the day(s) of the cosplay contest. Upon arrival, do NOT check in with any Amazing Employee but rather hang out and wait for our announcement. Around 3 to 3:30 pm we will make an announcement to all cosplayers where to meet in order to be registered for the contest and instructions as to how it will be run.
2.) AGE LIMITATIONS: All ages are applicable to win.
3.) COSTUMES must be creative. Out of respect for the cosplayers who put hours into their costumes, simply wearing a store bought costume, hat, shirt, sweatshirt, etc. does not qualify for the competition and this rule applies to children too. Just because your kids are cute, wearing Spiderman Pajamas, Tshirts or store bought costumes will not qualify them to enter. Winners will be judged on their interaction with attendees and the creativity of their costumes including makeup and handmade materials, personality - especially pertaining to any interaction you may have with attendees at the event and depicting your cosplay character, handmade items, makeup etc. Costumes should be tasteful and not be deemed offensive. The barest minimum of body coverage would be that of a bikini.
4.) WEAPONS: All operational shooting weapons and/or sharp objects are absolutely forbidden. Non-firing toy weapons are allowed. Act responsibly and use caution when carrying, yielding, displaying large props. Any simulation of props, such as light saber battles, may be allowed if granted permission beforehand by an Amazing Art Expo crew member and if conducted in an open area free of bystanders.
5.) PHOTOS: Althought taking photos with guests is voluntary, cosplayers are not to charge guests for any photos. Photos should be taken in an open area so you are not blocking aisles or product displays. You are welcome to ask any Amazing Art Expo employee suggestions for such areas.
6.) Contestants may participate both days but are not eligible to win more than once with the same costume.
