Dive into the mysterious and magical world beneath the waves at the Vancouver Maritime Museum's Animation Workshop: Painting Creatures of The Deep with artist and animator Wen Wen Lu.Join artist and animator Wen Wen Lu for an inspiring and imaginative session where children and adults will have the unique opportunity to create their own animated sea creatures.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore the vibrant and diverse ecosystem of the ocean, drawing inspiration from real-life marine life and their own creativity. Under the expert guidance of Wen Wen Lu, you will learn fundamental animation techniques as you bring your aquatic characters to life.
All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary. This workshop is perfect for anyone aged 8+, including young artists, aspiring animators, and anyone with a love for the ocean.
Spaces are limited, so be sure to register early to secure your spot. Please note that this event is subject to attendance and may be cancelled if capacity is not met.
