Join us as we honor the spirit of our beloved animals and the joy they brought to our lives!In honor of Día de Muertos, Woodland Park Zoo invites you to join us in celebrating and remembering the pets and animals who have touched our lives through a special Animal Ofrenda. Starting October 20, 2025, our dedicated staff will begin constructing the ofrenda at Briar Oak, and we encourage the community to participate by adding photos, offerings, and tributes to beloved animals who have passed.
The ofrenda will be unveiled on October 27, 2025, and will be accessible to guests during regular zoo hours through November 2, 2025. On October 27, 2025, we’ll host a celebration filled with fun activities, including paper picture frame decorating and themed animal coloring pages, with more activities to be announced. Whether you wish to contribute or simply experience this heartfelt tribute, join us in honoring the spirit of Día de Muertos and the animals who brought us joy.
