Animal and Pet Portrait Drawing Class

Discover the joy of drawing animal portraits in this relaxed, ongoing class with artist Michelle Watkins. These sessions explore the fundamentals of capturing animals with accuracy, expression and personality, as Michelle guides you through proportion, form, fur and feather textures, eyes and character.

Michelle creates a warm, encouraging space where you can experiment, build confidence and develop your own style at a comfortable pace. Whether you are a beginner or already love sketching, you will enjoy plenty of guidance, inspiration and creative play.

Bring your own reference photos and feel free to switch between different animals as your imagination leads you.

Join a friendly, supportive environment and build your animal portrait skills week by week.

Starts 9th February, Mondays, 1.30 - 3.30pm

Cost: $50 per class

Bring: Your preferred drawing medium (pastel pencils, coloured pencils, aquarelle pencils, ink) and drawing paper.
