The Angolan Dances Trip is an immersive cultural experience created by Lápis Eventos, led by Gabriel Cabinda, the producer behind the internationally recognized Angolan Dances Festival (Lisbon).
Since 2019, the project has welcomed participants from all over the world to experience Angola in an authentic way, through dance, music, gastronomy, traditions, and direct contact with local communities.
More than a trip, this is a journey into the soul of Angolan and African culture, guided by local artists, instructors, and cultural specialists.
What’s Included
• Dance workshops (Kizomba, Semba, Kuduro & traditional dances)
• Intensive training: 1 hour/day in small groups (1 instructor per 3 participants)
• Cultural talks & lectures on Angolan history and traditions
• Live music, backyard parties & street celebrations
• Guided city tours & cultural excursions
• Gastronomic and multicultural dinner experiences
• Participation in a traditional wedding ceremony (Pedido)
• Visits to dance schools, museums & cultural spaces
• Social impact action: wheelchair donations to local communities

• Group A: August 2–12, 2026
• Group B: August 19–29, 2026
• Max. 30 participants per group
• Option to join one or both groups (special conditions)
Packages & Prices
Package 1 – Angola Cultural Experience (10 days)
Luanda + Malanje
Includes accommodation, transport, activities & 2 meals per day
Hotel Skyna Luanda – 4★
• Single room: €1,800 (deposit €200)
• Double room: €1,500 (deposit €150)
Package 2 – Culture & Desert Experience (13 days)
Includes Package 1 + Namibe & Lubango Desert Experience
• Domestic flight included
• Desert camping & hotel stays
Prices:
• Single room: €2,800 (deposit €700)
• Double room: €2,500 (deposit €600)

• International flights not included
• Deposits refundable:
o Package 1: until May 1, 2026
o Package 2: until December 30, 2025
