About this Event
The Past, Present and Future of Family Photography.
Stephen Gill
Family photographs are precious, whether they are damaged glass plates, faded colour images from the 1960s, or hundreds of snaps taken with our mobile phones. Steve Gill is a professional photographer and image restorer, fully qualified to advise on good practice when caring for or restoring older images, and also fully conversant with AI, its benefits and limitations, and how best to use AI to identify details in old photographs. There may also be advice on using AI to enhance images. Whether you have specific questions or just want to learn more generally, this talk will will appeal to all. (Note: the images above are added from volunteers' collections for illustrative puposes only).
