Anger Isn\u2019t the Problem ~ A Somatic Movement Session
Advertisement
A body-led session to understand anger, feel it safely, and explore what sits underneath.
About this Event

Anger isn’t the problem. It’s a signal.
But most of us were never taught how to understand it.

You’ve probably heard the word somatic.
In simple terms, it means working with the body.

Instead of only talking about emotions, we explore how they feel physically, how they show up, and how they move.

This session focuses on anger.

Not as something to get rid of,
but as something to understand.

Because often, anger is the body’s way of saying:

  • something didn’t feel okay
  • something crossed a line
  • something matters

You may have heard “move the energy.”

And while movement can feel good in the moment,
it doesn’t always lead to lasting change.

When we don’t understand what a feeling is carrying,
it often comes back.
This session offers something different

A guided space to:

  • feel anger in the body
  • understand what it might be signalling
  • explore what sits underneath
  • and allow movement to come from understanding

Under anger, there can often be:

  • grief
  • sadness
  • unmet needs

When the body feels understood, it can begin to shift more naturally.
WHAT TO EXPECT

1 hour | guided body-based session

We’ll move through a simple, structured flow:

  • arriving and settling
  • exploring activation
  • movement, breath, and sound
  • grounding and return

You’ll be guided through:

  • gentle movement
  • breathwork
  • body awareness
  • noticing and responding in real time

There’s no performance.
No right way to do it.

Just space to explore what’s happening in your body.

We’ll also leave time at the end to land and integrate before you leave.
WHO IT’S FOR

This session is for you if:

  • anger feels confusing, overwhelming, or hard to express
  • emotions feel stuck in your body
  • talking about things hasn’t fully helped
  • you’re curious about a body-based approach

No experience needed.
WHY THIS IS DIFFERENT

This isn’t about pushing feelings away
or forcing a release

It’s about understanding what’s there
so the body can actually process and move through it
