Every show is a loud, unapologetic love letter to the decade when guitars ruled the airwaves, hairspray was a superpower, and metal was more than music—it was a lifestyle.
The Band
Angelz Fury was forged by seasoned East Coast musicians who grew up on platinum records, VHS concert tapes, and dreams of towering stacks of amps under hot stage lights. Together, they channel the spirit of the Sunset Strip and classic arena tours, delivering faithful renditions of the biggest 80s metal hits with the power, precision, and passion those songs deserve. From soaring vocals and twin-guitar harmonies to thunderous bass and drums, Angelz Fury recreates the sound and spectacle that made this era legendary.
Tina Valenti – Lead Vocals
Front and center is Tina Valenti, a powerhouse vocalist whose commanding range and magnetic stage presence were forged as the former frontwoman of regional favorite Aquanett. Tina doesn’t just sing the classics—she inhabits them. She moves from silk to steel in a single line, leading the crowd like a born ringmaster. When she steps to the mic, Plato’s “wings to the mind” become real—every chorus hits higher, louder, and more electric than the last.
John Whitcore – Guitars
John Whitcore grew up slinging guitar in the golden age of 80s rock, inspired by legends like Eddie Van Halen, Jake E. Lee, and George Lynch. From ripping rhythm parts to fiery lead breaks, his playing channels the flash, feel, and fire of the era. His signature blend of big hooks, melodic solos, and killer tone make him a fixture on the New England rock scene.
Over the years, John has played in Stomping Melvin and Iron Tiger, and currently performs with Creature Rock Feature, Deuces Wild Acoustic, and 2Pieces Acoustic. He’s shared the stage with Kip Winger and Pete Evick (Bret Michaels Band) and opened for acts including The BulletBoys, Winger, Tracii Guns & Gunzo, Saliva, Lynch Mob, Michael Sweet (Stryper), Enuff Z’Nuff, Last in Line, and Tony Harnell (TNT). Offstage, John works for Fender Musical Instrument Corporation, but when it’s showtime, his Floyd Rose–equipped Stratocaster is his weapon of choice—ready to dive-bomb, scream, and soar all night long.
Mike Tracy – Guitars
On the opposite side of the stage, Mike Tracy matches that fire, trading leads with John and helping build the band’s massive twin-guitar sound. A veteran of The Priest and Sticky Sweet, his playing blends muscle, melody, and swagger in true 80s fashion. Mike’s versatility lets him slip from tight harmonies to high-octane soloing at will.
Beyond the stage, Mike also wrote and recorded original morning show themes for Connecticut radio icons Brother Don Steele and Sebastian on WCCC—tracks that became fixtures of their broadcasts for six years. His mix of power, precision, and creativity defines the Angelz Fury guitar attack.
Michael Bertolami – Bass
Holding down the low end is Michael Bertolami, whose bass playing brings thunder, groove, and serious attitude to Angelz Fury. Raised on the high-voltage pulse of 80s hard rock and metal, his sound slams with power yet moves with feel and finesse. Influenced by Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin, Prince, Stevie Wonder, and Dirty Loops, Michael’s technical yet soulful approach keeps every song locked and loaded.
A Berklee College of Music grad with a Bachelor’s in Professional Music focused on Electric Bass Studies, Michael also performs with Creature Rock Feature and runs a YouTube Bass Channel showcasing his original work and collaborations. Offstage, he’s a music therapist at the Perkins School for the Blind—using the same passion that shakes clubs to help people connect, grow, and find their rhythm.
Mark Duane – Drums
Behind the kit, Mark Duane is the driving force of Angelz Fury—the thunder and the pulse. A veteran of Witzend, Metal: 101, and Touch, Mark’s playing blends the raw power of an arena drummer with the precision of a seasoned pro. He brings the bombast and control that define the genre’s greatest stickmen, making every show a full-throttle ride from first hit to last crash.
