Come see my exhibit about Filipino nurses and other artists on display at the Harold Washington Library. It's part of a larger, Filipino cultural event called "Halo-Halo Project." Come between 4:30 and 8 p.m. and I'll be standing by my display and talking about the exhibit and the newly printed version of my book about my mom and aunties called "House of Nurses: An American Journey." 4:30 PM – Wells Corridor open to guests.
5:30 PM – Auditorium doors open.
6:00 PM – SamaSama Project performance. Program begins: introductions, remarks, cultural performances, ribbon-cutting.
7:00–7:30 PM – Art exhibit opens; guests mingle.
8:00 PM – Closing.
