Angela Rothe, horse trainer, riding instructor and WE competitor( www.angelarothe.com , https://www.facebook.com/AngelaRotheEquine), is working with Cornerstone Horsemanship in Ridgefield. This series of clinics is aimed at introducing the fun of Working Equitation to riders and horses in Clark County and area.
Sessions are $75, including the haul-in fee. Each 2-hour session will be limited to 3-4 teams, additional sessions may be available on future dates. Sessions will focus on introducing obstacles currently used for the Working Equitation Competitions.
The future sessions are tentatively scheduled to be held 2nd Saturday of the month until the April Clinic. (, 3/8, 4/12)
Angela has shown through 4th level dressage, earning the USDF Bronze Medal with scores towards her Silver. Angela fell in love with the sport of Working Equitation, earning her silver medal and competing up to Level 5.
Angela and Maestoso Petra - "PT" achieved Reserve Champion at level 2 in the WE Western Zone Championships in 2024 and were second on the leaderboard nationally at that level. Even though Angela did not enter her horse Prince Aragorn "Spot" in Zone Championships last year, they did finish "high-points" at 2023 year's end for the region on the leaderboard at level 5.
Angela brought 3 of her students with her to zone Championships in 2024. (Including the student riding Spot!) Angela coaches an active group of clients with 6 students and 3 client horses going to shows
To register: PM Barbara for payment information of $75 per session. Paid registration is required to hold your spot. Auditors are welcome at $10.
Additional time will be made available as sessions fill. IE: first 4 teams fill a session, a second session opens and so on up to 3 sessions in a day.
