Winter is a time for coming together. We all contend with the cold and struggle amid the diminishing of the light. But, with music, we can find common purpose. In this concert, texts for Christmas and the winter season combine to celebrate the many ways in which humanity binds together against adversity. We feature several Northwest composers—Bern Herbolsheimer, Naomi LaViolette, Susan Maughlin Wood, John Muehleisen, Karen P. Thomas, and Giselle Wyers—and even a new work from the pen of our conductor, Gary D. Cannon. We look forward to seeing you on December 6th or 7th for a delightful concert highlighting both familiar tunes and new works. Program and concert details are below.
