We're hosting our very first Alex's Lemonade Stand to coincide with Port Washington's citywide rummage.Come join us for a lemonade while you're out finding those deals!
Why Alex's Lemonade Stand?
Alex Scott got cancer when she was 1 years old. When Alex was 4 she hosted her first lemonade stand raising money for childhood cancer research and raised $2k. By the time she was 8 years old, she appeared on Oprah, met her goal of raising $1 million, and unfortunately died just a few weeks later.
Her parents have continued her mission and Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation has since raised $350 million.
Every June, their own Army of Normal Folks host 3,500 lemonade stands as part of "Lemonade Days" that benefit their foundation.
ANF Ozaukee and the other new service clubs across the country are joining in this year to Do What We Can!
