As a Black-owned private practice, we proudly stand on the foundation laid by pioneers like Dr. Francis Cecil Sumner, the first Black psychologist, and Dr. Maxie Clarence Maultsby Jr., whose groundbreaking work in cognitive-behavioral therapy transformed mental health care for Black communities.
