About this Event

The Sigal Music Museum is pleased to present Andy & Friends Concert Series at Greenville’s Fine Arts Center. World-renowned pianist and concert host Artistic Director Andrew Armstrong will be joined by a stellar lineup of world-class musicians, ensuring an unforgettable second season for this very special series.

Experience a dazzling evening of chamber music at the Fine Arts Center with flutist Demarre McGill and pianists Jeewon Park and Andrew Armstrong. This program features a rich mix of solo, duo, and four-hand piano works, highlighting the lyrical and colorful repertoire of Debussy, Poulenc, Barber, Gershwin, William Grant Still, and more. Audiences will delight in both the expressive intimacy of flute and piano duos and the dynamic energy of piano four-hand arrangements, including Barber’s Souvenirs and Gershwin’s An American in Paris.

Celebrated for his lyrical expressiveness and technical mastery, Demarre McGill is a prize-winning flutist and principal of the Seattle Symphony. An internationally recognized soloist and chamber musician, he has appeared with orchestras including the Philadelphia, Dallas, and San Diego Symphonies and performed at prestigious festivals such as Marlboro, Santa Fe, and Aspen. McGill is also a dedicated educator, having taught and presented masterclasses across the globe, inspiring the next generation of musicians while championing works by underrepresented composers.

Jeewon Park brings her radiant musicality and versatility to this performance. Praised for her “deeply reflective playing” and “infectious exuberance,” Park has performed worldwide as a soloist and chamber musician, from Bach’s Goldberg Variations to premieres of contemporary works. A devoted collaborator, she co-directs the Performing Artists in Residence series at the Clark Art Institute and has appeared at festivals and concert series across North America and Asia, earning acclaim for her expressive technique, warmth, and impeccable taste.

Acclaimed pianist Andrew Armstrong rounds out this stellar trio, celebrated for his passionate expression and dazzling technique. A frequent soloist and chamber musician, Armstrong has performed across the United States, Europe, Asia, and Latin America, including Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, and the Kennedy Center. With a vast repertoire of more than 60 concertos and multiple award-winning recordings, he is equally at home performing solo works, chamber music, and collaborations with world-class artists. Together, McGill, Park, and Armstrong promise an evening of artistry, virtuosity, and unforgettable musical expression.
