Level:
Experience Required: We recommend taking this course only if you have at least one or two years of experience in hairdressing or barbering.
For newly qualified hair professionals (Level 2 NVQ or equivalent) looking to refine cutting skills and client care through classic techniques.
Focus:
The focus of this course includes consultations, head sheets, and cutting skills, with particular attention to layers, graduation, and lines. You will develop combing and mapping skills while working through mannequin head training. Styling techniques, finishing techniques, and blow-dry techniques are included, with a strong emphasis on precision cutting.
The course also covers disconnections, pattern assessment, length choice, and suitability, while offering inspiration and personal appraisal to support your growth as a stylist.
