About this Event
Andrea James is a seventh-generation Massachusetts resident and longtime community advocate, and nationally recognized leader for justice and accountability. Her campaign is rooted in a simple but urgent truth: Massachusetts should work for the people who live here, not corporations, political insiders, or special interests.
Across the Commonwealth, families are struggling with rising costs, housing insecurity, inaccessible healthcare, underfunded schools, and a lack of real economic opportunity. Despite a political system dominated by one party, too many decisions are made without transparency or accountability, and too many voices are left out. We need to break from the status quo that both establishment parties are guaranteed to continue.
This campaign launch marks the beginning of a people-powered movement focused on dignity, affordability, and real solutions. Andrea is running as an Independent to bring new leadership to Beacon Hill that listens, is transparent, and puts the Commonwealth's communities first.
It's Commonwealth. Not Corporatewealth.
What to expect:
- Andrea James will share her vision for Massachusetts
- Community speakers from across the state, sharing lived experiences and why this moment matters
- Remarks on campaign priorities and the road ahead
- Opportunities to get involved and help shape this movement and more.
This is a call to people across Massachusetts who want more from their government and are ready to join a people-powered campaign for change. It's Commonwealth. Not Corporatewealth.
All are welcome.
