About this Event
The sessions are bilingual. Both Portuguese and English speakers are welcome.
"Write Now" is a monthly gathering for researchers, academics, and writers from all disciplines. It’s a space designed for writing together - to turn what is often a solitary process into one of presence, connection, and shared creativity.
What to expect from this event
Each session includes:
- Brief check-in to arrive with focus and intention
- 30–40 minutes of silent, focused writing
- Short feedback exchange or moment of movement
- Time for reflection, sharing, and informal conversation
What do you need to bring
Participants can bring your laptop, notebook, or any writing project you'd like to work on.

For anyone engaged in writing. From academic researchers and students to independent writers and creatives who wish to develop a consistent writing practice in community.
Tickets for the event
Tickets cost €5 and we recommend purchasing them in advance as this is a popular event with limited capacity.

How To Find Us
By Metro: We're situated a 5-minute walk from the Campo Pequeno metro (Yellow line) and a 10-minute walk from the Alameda metro (Green & Red lines).
By Bus: There are many convenient bus options 2 blocks away from us on Avenida República, with the closest stop to our store being Campo Pequeno-Av. Republica.
By Bike: If you're using the Gira public bicycles, there is a docking station right across the street (#431 - Rua do Arco Cego / Av. Magalhães Lima).
By Car: There is a paid parking lot across the street, between Rua Arco do Cego and Rua Dona Filipa de Vilhena. Street parking is also available around the neighborhood.
