Join us for our second annual "Whimsical Woodland of Words" Family Reading Festival during the August "Third Thursday on Main" event in historic downtown Madison, held from 5-8 PM on Thursday, August 20.This event is a cooperative effort with Children-Read-Succeed, Huntsville and supported by the Children's Defense Fund as well as other local organizations who care about the well-being of families.
Children's authors (TBA) will be on hand to read their books and meet & greet families.
Arts and crafts projects, music, dancing, book and book-ish items (think school book fair fun!) and much more will be available for families to enjoy inside and around Blue Apple Books.
School will be in full swing by the time this event occurs, and reading routines will hopefully be a part of those routines for your family, but perhaps you - like many of us - need something fun to inspire your child (or yourself!) to read more. We are excited to welcome you and your family to enjoy this event, proudly presented by community members, volunteers, and organizations who care about YOU!
