About this Event
"Warm up to Winter" and a whole and vital life outdoors in Minnesota! (even if you are from Mississippi) Melanin In Motion, Anthony Taylor, and the Cultural Wellness Center are hosting this year's event at The Trailhead, Theodore Wirth Park. Every summer, we are reminded that Nature, Outdoors, and movement are beneficial and good for our physical and mental health. We cannot let winter stop our forward momentum! We invite BIPOC communities, immigrant families, Minnesota newbies, Northside families, girls, and women to kick off the season from the Trailhead at Theodore Wirth Park in the heart of North Minneapolis.
Anthony Taylor, musician, farmer, artist, and outdoor enthusiast Marcus Kar, and their families and coaches for a FREE concert featuring local talent, fire pits, food, fun, and information sessions. Learn all the opportunities to get yourself, your kids, your family, and your friends outdoors and active all winter. All skills and abilities are welcome and encouraged, and all experiences are designed for first-timers to succeed. Scholarships for all future activities are available.
