Vital Spark will sing and play examples of the lively type of Christmas music that was popular in country churches from the early 1700s until around 1840. We also sing pieces from the USA, where this musical style was taken by emigrants and is still used today. The enthusiastic singing is accompanied by a band of fiddles, concertinas, clarinet, recorders, flute and bassoon.Entry is free with donations invited.
