Give new life to your old clothes in this hands-on upcycling workshop! Whether it’s a sweatshirt with a stain you can’t scrub out or a pair of jeans with holes too good to toss, this class will show you how to transform your worn-out wardrobe pieces into unique, artful garments using vintage textiles, fabric scraps, and a bit of creative flair. Basic sewing machine knowlege suggested.
What to Bring:
One piece of clothing you’d like to upcycle (a stained sweatshirt, jeans with holes, or anything you want to refresh).
Optional: Bring your own fabric scraps, doilies, handkerchiefs, or sentimental textiles you'd like to include.
What’s Provided:
A wide variety of vintage fabric scraps, trims, and embellishments. Sewing tools and supplies (scissors, needles, thread, pins, etc.). Sewing machine (shared use)
Inspiration samples and guided instruction.
