The Association of Ukrainians in Belgium, with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Belgium, invites you to a screening of the sci-fi film "U Are the Universe" by Pavlo Ostrikov, starring Volodymyr Kravchuk.
The story follows Ukrainian space trucker Andriy, who becomes the last man in the universe after the destruction of Earth. When the voice of a French woman named Catherine suddenly breaks through the endless void, Andriy defies eternity itself to bridge millions of kilometers for a single meeting.
A major triumph on the 2024 film festival circuit, the film won the prestigious "Golden Octopus" and "Silver Méliès" in France, awards for Best Director and the Audience Award in Germany, Best Actor in Greece, and was named Best Feature Film at the Science+Fiction Festival in Italy.
This screening is also a charitable initiative: all proceeds will be donated to support our ukrainian people.
The film will be screened in the original Ukrainian with English subtitles.

Товариство Українців Бельгії за підтримки Посольства України в Бельгії запрошує на показ науково-фантастичної стрічки Павла Острікова «Ти — Космос» із Володимиром Кравчуком у головній ролі.
Сюжет розгортається навколо українського космічного далекобійника Андрія, який після загибелі Землі залишається останнім чоловіком у Всесвіті. Коли крізь безкрайню порожнечу раптово пробивається голос француженки Катрін, герой кидає виклик самій вічності, щоб подолати мільйони кілометрів заради єдиної зустрічі.
Фільм став справжнім тріумфатором кінофестивалів 2024 року. Стрічка виборола головні нагороди «Золотий восьминіг» та «Срібний Мельєс» у Франції, призи за режисуру та глядацькі симпатії в Німеччині, нагороду за найкращу акторську гру в Греції, а також була визнана найкращим художнім фільмом на фестивалі наукової фантастики в Італії.
Організований показ є також благодійною ініціативою - усі виручені кошти будуть спрямовані на підтримку нашим захисникам.
Показ пройде мовою оригіналу (українською) з англійськими субтитрами.
