The Understudies brings all the warmth and delight of A.A. Milne's beloved story to the stage this summer. Adapted by Bettye Knapp, "The House At Pooh Corner" follows Christopher Robin and his friends Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger and the rest as they run away together to avoid being sent off to this thing called Education. As the situation becomes clearer, Christopher Robin isn't quite so sure that running away is the answer. The Spotlight Organization for this production is Safe Spot Child Advocacy Center. The Understudies is honored to share 20% of all ticket sales with Safe Spot in support of the vital programs and services it provides to children and families in Wilkes County.
