Xinalani is a private eco-friendly yoga retreat facility 12 miles from the Puerto Vallarta airport. Xinalani is committed to the sustainable development of the local community, and strives to honor and respect nature while tapping into its healing power. Xinalani works with organic local materials; approaches energy and water consumption with care; and is proud to share space with local flora and fauna. As a sustainable eco-resort, Xinalani is a sanctuary for wildlife. Their privileged location is tucked into the heart of the jungle with access to the beach, which blesses guests with the companionship of humpback whales, bottled-nose dolphins, iguanas, and birds such as parakeets, parrots, macaws, and woodpeckers.
All rooms and casitas have spectacular and inspiring ocean views and the comfort of A/C. Most are located high in the mountains, with a fresh, open-air, spacious and palm-thatched roof design. Xinalani is perfect for any yogi, meditation practitioner, or wellness enthusiast who values rest, relaxation, and high quality, luxurious amenities, such as a plunge pool, a/c, customizable food options, and private beach.
Travel
Guests will fly into Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR), where transportation will be arranged from the airport to the resort. Before boarding your private shuttle, we recommend taking a moment to change into comfortable clothes for your transfer to Xinalani.
Xinalani is truly a unique yoga retreat center, as it is accessible ONLY by boat! There is no road access to this dreamy retreat center, and we are happy to arrange transportation in advance for your comfort. Guests will need to schedule their flights to arrive in Puerto Vallarta before 4:00pm on July 18, 2026; and depart after 12pm on July 25, 2026 to avoid night-time boat travel, which is not recommended.
Guests will step off their private water transfer onto the beautiful shore at Xinalani. It’s possible to get wet up to your knees when stepping off the boat and onto the beach, and we suggest wearing shorts, sandals, and sunscreen. We also recommend safeguarding your cell phone and valuables in a waterproof dry bag.
