The Batesville Area Arts Council is pleased to present "Stitch Along Broken Line," an exhibition by Margo Duvall, from January 20 to March 6, 2026. Join us Friday, February 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. for a reception and brief artist talk at 6 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public.
The work in this show represents fragments of personal and collective histories. Duvall uses both found and family photographs as a way to dive into themes of memory, narrative, and the archive. The photographs hold the evidence of our existence. By enlarging, overlaying, and mixing patterns with new and old photographs, the individual memories they hold blend, blur, and become new stories in their arrangements.
