"Starlight & Shutter" an Astrophotography Event at Fort De Soto Park

Join us for a special night of stargazing and astrophotography fun. Bring your camera and/or telescope to capture the beauty of the night sky with fellow enthusiasts. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, this event is perfect for all skill levels. Event Details:

• The event will be held at East Beach.
• Attendees must bring their own equipment and seating.
• No swimming or bathing allowed during the event.
• Pre-registration for each person attending is required and proof of registration will be checked at the entry gate. Onsite registration or payment is not allowed.
• Participants must be at least16 years old.
• White lights (including phone screens, headlights, and flashlights) are not permitted.
• Red flashlights or headlamps are encouraged to help preserve night vision.
• Park gates will be open for event participants from 7:30-8:45 p.m. The gates will be closed from 8:45 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. All attendees must stay for the duration of the event.
• Entry Fee: $10 per person.
