“Spring Blooms”
You are invited to come learn the magic of working with glass for this simple yet beautiful design. Make a beautiful flower suncatcher to hang indoors or out Just in time for Mother’s Day!
$36. Approx size 5.5″ or choose to make a nightlight approx size 3.5″ $36
All skill levels welcome and easy enough for a beginner.
All materials will be provided. The instructor will show you how easy it is to cut the glass, assemble like a puzzle and make a beautiful masterpiece!
You will create your design by using a special tac glue as an adhesive. All projects will go home with the instructor to be kiln fired and will be delivered back to the class location in about 10-12 days. Email will be sent out with pickup instructions. Your ticket fee includes the venue rental, class instruction, glass materials, kiln firing and supplies.
Drinks that are covered are ok in the venue but food and glass do not mix. Please wear close toed shoes. Make your experience twice as enjoyable and bring a friend! Appropriate for adults of all ages.
Come early or stay later to shop our extraordinary store filled with lots of handcrafted treasures made by local artisans.
You will not be charged parking or an admission fee to shop or attend a workshop at My New Favorite Thing. If your workshop is scheduled on a day when Canterbury Village is hosting a special event, please walk up to the gate and provide your name—you will not be asked to pay an additional fee to attend your scheduled workshop. Please note: Your workshop registration does not include admission to the Canterbury event itself. If you would like to stay and enjoy the rest of the village after your class, simply visit the front gate to purchase admission for the day.

2026 Refund policy: A credit towards another class can be given if you need to cancel prior to 5 days of the event. If you need to cancel within 5 days of the event, you can either send someone in your place or you have the option of making up the class at the next paid class of your choosing. At the next paid class, you will get to apply the amount from the class you missed to your 2nd item made for that night’s project. Please contact the instructor, Laurie, as soon as possible and no more than 72 hours of the class at [email protected]
