In-store on Friday, Oct. 25th, 5pm, local author Sophie Burnham will be joining us to speak on their newly released trilogy, "Sargassa". This piece of speculative historical fiction is the first installment in an upcoming trilogy, and is set in an ancient empire and is steeped in lore, societal exploration, and expression of sexuality.
Sophie Burnham is an author, screenwriter, and self-proclaimed recovering theater kid. Post-discussion, they will be engaging in a Q&A and signing copies of "Sargassa".
"Told from multiple POVs: a young heiress, an undercover spy, a bastard brother and a fugitive who has history with all three, Sargassa is equal parts political intrigue, queer romance, and revolution."
