After a nearly 75 year career, his works continue to inspire viewers with their quiet strength and meditative beauty, reminding us of the profound significance found in simple, overlooked moments.
At 94 years old, Robert Kipniss is considered to be one of the greatest living American printmakers, with a significant body of work that can be found in over 170 museums including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; The Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; The British Museum, London; the Albertina, Vienna; The Bibliothéque Nationale de France, Paris; The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; and the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, among many others.
