Join artist Em Campbell for a 2-hour outdoor watercolor experience at Historic London Town. Surrounded by lush gardens and waterfront views, this small-group session is designed for all skill levels and will help you learn to paint “in the wild” with confidence.Each participant will receive a lightly pre-drawn sketch to work from, so you can focus on painting rather than drawing. You’ll learn how to simplify a scene, capture the feeling of a place, and use practical techniques for painting outdoors, including setup, composition, a limited palette, and adapting to changing light.
You’ll complete a small landscape painting and leave ready to continue painting on your own.
A professional-grade travel watercolor kit is available for purchase at registration. Space is limited for a more personal experience. This is an outdoor class—please dress for the weather and bring a chair or cushion for comfort.
