About this Event

Join us at Inusual Project (Carrer de la Paloma, 5, 08001 Barcelona) on Tuesday, 3rd March 2026, at 7:30 pm for a special screening of the documentary Nowhere Left to Go (2011), produced/co-directed by journalist and peace activist, Angela Godfrey-Goldstein.

We will also display works by Gazan artists from the collective Every Tomorrow I Remember, which will be available to purchase with all proceeds going directly to the artists. All ticket sales and additional donations will directly support Palestinian causes.

About the film:

Nowhere Left to Go (2011) is a 28-minute documentary following the ongoing forced displacement of the Jahalin Bedouin refugee community living on the outskirts of Jerusalem. Filmed in the Jerusalem Periphery, the film documents the impact of Israeli military policy and settlement expansion on Bedouin families who have already been displaced multiple times.

Set against the backdrop of the E-1 development area, the film explores how these expulsions form part of an ongoing Nakba, threatening not only the viability of a future Palestinian state but also the survival of a centuries-old Indigenous desert way of life. As land confiscation, settler violence, and state pressure intensify, the documentary bears witness to communities with nowhere left to go.

28 minutes | Arabic with English subtitles

About the organisers:

The Big Picture is a community initiative based in Barcelona that explores global and social issues, and how they connect to our everyday lives. Each event includes a screening or artistic presentation, followed by a discussion to share reflections and brainstorm tangible ways we can take action – from boycotting and donating, to amplifying voices and rethinking our daily choices. Our aim is to stay informed and inspired – using art and dialogue as tools for collective change.
