Did you know that Edison wasn't the only inventor in New Jersey? There are many others, mostly not as famous, but who definitely deserve having their stories told. All are welcome to join us at the American Legion Hall, 494 Willow Grove St. at 7PM on Tuesday, Sept. 2nd for the Hackettstown Historical Society's 1st presentation of the Fall Season. Author & educator, Linda Barth, will discuss her book "New Jersey Originals: Technological Marvels, Odd Inventions, Trailblazing Characters and More!" and will tell us about some of these many inventors.
As always, our program is FREE & open to all. Free refreshments, so come & enjoy! Meet our Officers and Board of Trustees. Consider becoming a member to help preserve and maintain the history of Hackettstown, and our local area, in the Museum that we maintain at 106 Church St. in Hackettstown, which is open Weds., Fri., & Sun. 2-4pm and by appointment.
