ABOUT THE DOCUMENTARY:
This project started as a residency art program at @pujinostro in the Andean Mountains of Ecuador . An adventure to find and talk to local artisans about their labour. Tigua painters for Damian are a clear example that art can break through anything while make your spirit pump. So, “ Never stop dreaming” is how this journey is baptised, is the documentary name, but also is a big lesson from Julio Toaquiza, ( the first Tigua painter ), never stop dreaming.This thursday 30th at VA will be presented a documentary / investigation about what masks represent in damian´s life and how cultures are being shaped by such important objects that carries identity..
This project will have the first screening in Brisbane -
