National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) 2026 is a national observance celebrating the extraordinary achievements of women and girls in sports. Participate in a FREE sports clinic, hosted by Oglethorpe University’s women’s sports teams, then cheer on the Women’s Basketball team as they take on Southwestern University! Clinics are open to all ages and teams/groups.Check-In: 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM Check-in at the Schmidt Recreation Center on the campus of Oglethorpe University
Sports Clinic: 10:30 AM -11:45 AM
-Pick your favorite sport or try them all: basketball, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, golf and track and field
-Snacks, give-a-ways, and FUN!
Q&A: 11:45 AM -12:00 PM
-Q&A with student-athletes and coaches
GAME DAY- Women’s Basketball: 12:00 PM
-Watch OU women’s basketball take on Southwestern
-If you can’t make the clinic, come to the game!
-Admission to Oglethorpe Athletic events is free of charge!
