We need lots of volunteers to help clear trash from Kanawha State Forest Drive between Connell Road and the entrance of the forest.Meet in the parking lot of the former convenience store located at the bottom of Connell Road for pickers, bags, gloves, vests, water and snacks.
We'll bag the small stuff and set big stuff on the edge of the road for pick-up by DEP personnel.
We'll split volunteers into two groups: One starting at the forest entrance, the other starting at Connell Road, then we'll meet in the middle of Kanawha State Forest Drive and cheer!!!
**Wear old clothes, closed toe shoes, and a sun hat.**
