About this Event
"Just Sam" offers a comprehensive look at how trauma impacts black men and the African American community. Samuel Simmons, Jr., also known as Sam, wrote this book simply as a retelling of one man's journey but to encourage readers to confront uncomfortable truths and move beyond mere resilience. He presents a blueprint for community healing and growth.
“This book serves as both a mirror and a map, reflecting the truths we might prefer to ignore and guiding us toward the paths of healing and empowerment.”
